PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Gippsland primary school students will explore and present ideas on the principles of sustainability and the concept of ‘one ecological footprint’ at Kernot Hall.  The school students will be MC’ed, challenged and facilitated by Frank Fitzgerald-Ryan, Principal and Founder of Vox Bandicoot Pty Ltd and also be entertained the environmental show Circus Sustainable.

CIRCUS SUSTAINABLE is an irresistible, lighthearted, zany work full of juggling, magic, climate change and loads of gags. The spotlight is on one of the most important environmental challenges in history - energy conservation to reduce greenhouse gas pollution.

The Circus stars the incredible Compost Knievel, Bozone Layer and Mr. Elvis Presley. Yes! That’s right! you heard it here first! The King lives ... and returns for this one performance only!

This show will “explain” greenhouse science and provide “insight” into behaviour change in a hilarious burst of zany eco-freneticism.

FRANK FITZGERALD-RYAN is an internationally regarded practitioner in environmental education. Frank has worked in the field for over 30 years and his outstanding contribution has been recognised through being granted fellowship of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC and as a finalist in the 2003 United Nations Australian Environment Awards and the Eureka Award. Frank is also a current Watermark Australia Champion, Banksia Award and Victorian Environmental Education Prize winner. He has been published numerous times including Green Hits, Clockwork, the Macmillan Environmental Encyclopedia, The Environment Book (foreword by Peter Garret), etc, etc, - through to the Sustainability Street Manual - which is, in effect, a neat summary of the amazing Vox Bandicoot pedagogy, as it has developed over the last twenty years or so.
