Festival Program

The Gippsland Sustainability Festival is a free community event having been financed by our sponsors.  It is hosted by the Latrobe City Council’s Green Expectations Project.

Friday 9th May
SCHOOLS, BUSINESS & THE COMMUNITY

  • 250 Gippsland primary school children from a variety of Gippsland schools and support staff will visit the festival between 9.30 AM – 1.30 PM and take part of an interactive performance on the main stage called ‘Circus Sustainability’ performed by Vox Bandicoot, the Environmental Theatre Company.  See education page for more details.
  • The day is open for the community, private and public organisations to visit and see the showcase
  • Over 45 stalls showcasing sustainable products and services

Saturday 10th May
COMMUNITY DAY – INTERACTIVE LEARNING & WORKSHOPS
There are over 40 stalls exhibiting sustainable products and services.  Throughout the day there will be interactive presentations on the main stage.  Thank you to all that volunteered their time to speaking at the festival.  Times for each talk are scheduled below:
